Care is easier to say yes to when it fits into real life. A treatment room can be calm and thoughtful, but if getting there adds another layer of stress, many people will put it off.
That is one reason our location matters. We are based at New Road Baptist Church on Bonn Square, in the centre of Oxford, close to Westgate, the station, bus routes, colleges, offices, shops and libraries.
For many patients, that makes appointments easier to fit around work, study, caring responsibilities or other plans in the city.
A quiet room in a busy place
Central Oxford can be busy. People arrive from offices, lecture rooms, libraries, buses, clinics, shops and school runs. The therapy room offers a quieter pause within that.
We want the room to feel calm without feeling precious. It is a practical treatment space: somewhere to talk, be listened to, receive care, and leave with a clearer sense of what may help next.
Why convenience is part of care
When someone is in pain, tired, stressed or dealing with ongoing symptoms, travel can become a barrier. A central clinic can make a difference.
It may mean:
- coming before or after work
- fitting an appointment into a study day
- avoiding a long drive across the city
- using public transport
- combining care with errands or other appointments
- making follow-up sessions feel more manageable
These details are not separate from care. They affect whether people can keep attending.
Practitioners under one roof
We offer acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, osteopathy and massage. Each therapy is different, but the clinic has a shared approach: careful listening, clear explanation and treatment adapted to the person in front of us.
Greg Lampert offers acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. Mandy Horby offers acupuncture. Rosie Waygood offers osteopathy, including paediatric osteopathy. Massage is also available at the clinic.

A first appointment should not feel rushed
For acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, the first conversation is especially important. We ask about the main issue and the wider picture: sleep, digestion, appetite, energy, stress, lifestyle and relevant health history.
For osteopathy and massage, the same principle applies in a different way. Your practitioner needs to understand what is happening, what you are comfortable with, and what you want from treatment.
Good care starts with enough time to listen.
